My name is Carlos Samuels and from a tender age, I have aspired to become a Mathematician and to also share my love of math with other students. I would describe myself as one who is very self-driven, meticulous and a great leader. Upon completion of my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Science, I hope to pursue a doctoral degree in Mathematics. During graduate school, it is my goal to continue participating in mathematical research as I have already begun at an undergraduate level. I believe education is a key component in one’s life - especially the area of Mathematics, which is an ever-growing field. As a result, my overarching career goal is to edify, motivate and mentor future professionals in the field of Mathematics. I one-day hope to nurture a generation of Mathematicians both in my present community and my homeland, Guyana.
