The {{tnxb}} template is a typing-aid template. Mnemonically {{tnxb}} stands for Template Name (or No link) eXpanded Bold. With {{tnxb}} you may add up to twelve parameters, and it uses a monospaced non-proportional font.

One difference is readability, compare {{Factorial}} (in proportional font) and {{Factorial}} (in monospaced non-proportional font) using {{tnb|Factorial}} and {{tnxb|Factorial}}, respectively. These templates are used to name (no link) other templates in an intuitive way with curly braces. With {{tnxb}} you can add up to 16 parameters separated by "|" escaping any "=" with "{{=}}".
