Sequences links broken

The links to sequence pages can be fixed with the template {{oeis|A??????}} A??????. The page is protected, so I cannot edit the links myself... — Daniel Forgues 16:52, 10 December 2010 (UTC), — Daniel Forgues 01:55, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

Acknowledgments

The A-numbers in this section use some old now completely broken [[A012345|A012345]] style. Simply writing A012345 will work. –Frank Ellermann 12:57, 27 September 2011 (UTC)

{{Edit request}} Somebody fixed it in the last six years, thanks. –Frank Ellermann 02:44, 18 October 2017 (UTC)

Broken links

The link to the JIS in the section "Links to Other Sites" is broken. R. J. Mathar 13:14, 7 August 2012 (UTC)

Capitalization and other improvements

First, let me +1 the editing request above, or rather ask to unlock the main page. (I learned that this might date back to the earliest dates where unprotected pages on the wiki were "daily"(?) overwritten by the "official" contents from the main OEIS.)

Second, I think that the "journal style capitalization" (as used for all section headings on this (content) page) is not the appropriate style for an encyclopedia (cf. wikipedia). I suggest to switch to "normal capitalization". The same applies to the title of many wiki pages.

Since chapter titles and section titles are capitalized in books, magazines, journals, etc. I assumed that we would do the same, so I capitalized the section titles (the page titles are automatically capitalized). We should ask Neil Sloane. — Daniel Forgues 01:50, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
I see what you mean, on this page all the words are capitalized. Almost all (with some rare exceptions, e.g. Riemann Hypothesis) the page titles and section titles capitalize the initial word only. — Daniel Forgues 01:54, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

Wrong section headers format

Topmost section headers should use == ... ==, which corresponds to <h2> ... </h2> in HTML (= ... =, which corresponds to <h1> ... </h1> in HTML, is automatically used for page titles).

=OEIS: Brief History=

should be

== OEIS: Brief history ==

Link to www.FindStat.org

I would like to add a link to www.FindStat.org to the "Links to Other Sites" section. Please let me know what you think about that! Christian Stump 09:10, 25 February 2016 (UTC)

compressed version file size wrong

Please correct, 9 megs is long ago, today I downloaded stripped.gz and it was 24 megs. [1] --Hermann Stamm-Wilbrandt (talk) 20:51, 11 April 2019 (EDT)
