Preformatted Text

I saw:

# is a simple syntax for fixed-format text possible?

What is meant exactly? Starting a line with a space is the wiki syntax for < pre >(-formatted) text, is it this? — M. F. Hasler 23:41, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Lines starting with a space are blocked out in a highlighted section. In my opinion, this looks ugly for fixed-format examples within a sequence entry. One possibility would be modifying the style sheets; another would be adding support for another type of pre-formatted text. This was a placeholder for those questions. — David Applegate 15:47, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

Searching/Browsing Issue

Wiki and LaTeX Formats for Arrays, Matrices, and Tables
