Pafnuty Chebyshev

Pafnuty Lvovich Chebyshev (russian: Пафну́тий Льво́вич Чебышёв) (1821–1894) was a Russian mathematician. His name can be alternatively transliterated as Chebychev or Chebyshov. The French transcription is Pafnouti Lvovitch Tchebychev and the German transcription Pafnuti Lwowitsch Tschebyschow.
