G.f.: (1 + 8*x + 27*x^2 + 44*x^3 + 39*x^4 - 3*x^6 + 4*x^7) / ((1 - x)^4*(1 + x)^3).

a(n) = (5*n^3 + 8*n^2 + 6*n - 6) / 2 for n>0 and even.

a(n) = (5*n^3 + 7*n^2 + 5*n + 1) / 2 for n odd.

a(n) = a(n-1) + 3*a(n-2) - 3*a(n-3) - 3*a(n-4) + 3*a(n-5) + a(n-6) - a(n-7) for n>7.
