COMMENTS
|
In 1968, 13th CPMG has defined the temperature difference of 1 K (one kelvin) as this fraction of the absolute thermodynamic temperature of the triple point of water. Later (2005) the physical part of the definition was narrowed by specifying the isotopic composition of the reference "water".
After the 2019 redefinition of SI, the temperature of the triple point of water is no longer an exact constant. - Andrey Zabolotskiy, Feb 28 2021
