%C The partition function of a heteronuclear diatomic molecule is Sum_{J>=0} (2*J + 1) * exp( - J * (J + 1) * hbar^2 / (2 * I * k * T)) where I is the moment of inertia, hbar is reduced Planck's constant, k is Boltzmann's constant, and T is temperature. The degeneracy for the J-th energy level is 2*J + 1.
