It seems that this sequence is infinite.
EXAMPLE
Example: the sequence a(1)=1 then a(n)=a(n-1)/2 if a(n-1) is even, a(n) = a(n-1) + n otherwise goes 1, 3, 6, 3, 8, 4, 2, 1, 10, 5, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1, etc... which has ones at 1, 8, 15, 64, etc...
