COMMENTS

None of the 6th through the 30th Mersenne primes are in this sequence, so the next term in the sequence (if it exists) has at least 60050 digits. [From Nathaniel Johnston (nathaniel(AT)nathanieljohnston.com), Nov 02 2010]

EXAMPLE

127 = 2^7 - 1 is a Mersenne prime and its "look and say" description, 111217, is also prime, so 127 belongs to the sequence.
